Dirty energy industry waste water can produce clean energy

A company in Texas is designing a new hydroelectric power generation method that uses the cooling cycle water discharged from a conventional power plant to generate electricity. This is a strange fusion of dirty energy and clean energy. Gulfstream Technology's pilot project near a power plant has now been operating successfully for a year and a half. The power plant is located on a lake in Texas, and this water turbine uses the power plant to flow out regularly and consistently. The water flow generates electricity. Not only coal-fired power plants are required to discharge wastewater, but nuclear power plants also need to discharge wastewater. The device was invented by Gulfstream Technology's think tanks Todd and Phillips. This device can use any form of municipal pipelines and commercial wastewater discharge pipes and the natural flow of rivers and currents to generate electricity. Gulfstream Technologies' ability to design patents for such hydro turbines is based on their experience in designing, manufacturing, operating, and maintaining sophisticated river machinery. Each of these water turbines has a capacity of 750 kW and they can be clustered and operated in groups. As potential customers of this kind of plant, coal-fired power plants and natural-gas-fired power plants can use this device to reduce their carbon load.

If this type of hydro turbine succeeds, it will also have an impact on the utility of the coal plant's emissions, because in this way we will permanently use coal to generate electricity. It is well known that coal power generation may cause climate change, brain, heart and lung diseases and other health problems, but the political reality is that we will continue to use coal despite these hazards. In view of this, there are many ways to reduce the hazards of coal-fired power plants, at least to the climate, and this kind of water turbine is one of them. If burning per unit of coal can produce twice the electricity, then in a sense, you can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by half while producing every unit of electricity.
