In the general market, the wire cutters are divided into two grades, middle and high. The division of so-called grades is not because of the quality of the products, but because of the material problems of the manufacturing of the wire cutters. Chromium vanadium has a high hardness and good quality. The wire pliers made of this kind of material can be classified as high-grade wire pliers. The grade of high-carbon steel is relatively low.

The difference in price between the two grades of wire cutters is quite large. The low market price ranges from 7-9 yuan, and some of the higher ones can go up to 20-30 yuan.
