Scientists have been working hard to find alternatives to lithium batteries. Now, sodium ion batteries have become a new promising direction.
Compared with the lithium element, the sodium acquisition and natural stocks are much better, but the early prototypes of sodium ion batteries have the characteristics of low performance and short life.
However, a team of experts from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology led by Professor Jong Min Yuk found that the availability of sodium ion batteries after using copper sulfide to make electrodes has greatly increased, including but not limited to capacity and charge and discharge performance. Experts say that the current sodium ion battery prototype can be used for 5 years or more if it is charged once a day.
Of course, if you want to replace lithium-ion batteries, you must have a greater advantage. According to reports, sodium ion batteries with copper sulfide electrodes have excellent resistance to junctions compared to traditional lithium ion batteries with graphite electrodes. Due to the very different graphite crystal structures and the different expansion coefficients before and after the reaction, the battery capacity will decay after a period of time. A new type of sodium ion battery has observed that a semi-coherent interface is formed at the electrode, which allows it to maintain a very high capacity after multiple cycles of charging and discharging.
In addition, from the perspective of environmental protection, unlike toxic lithium and cobalt, sodium is non-toxic, and mining is easier.
Single-point sensor commonly used parallel beam structure, made of aluminum alloy, high precision, wide measurement range, long life, simple structure, good frequency response characteristics, can work in harsh conditions, easy to realize miniaturization, integration and diversification of varieties.
