Electromagnetic chuck common faults and maintenance methods:

The suction of the electromagnetic chuck is reduced, which causes the suction of the electromagnetic chuck to decrease:

1) The panel is rough. Solution: self-grinding electromagnetic chuck table.

2) The electromagnetic chuck input voltage drops.

Detection method: use a multimeter to detect the output voltage between the electromagnetic chuck and the demagnetizer 1 and 2 feet; the voltage is DC110V when there is load, and DC127V when there is no load. Electromagnetic chuck charging and demagnetizing output voltage adjustment method: clockwise rotation of the component numbered 202, the output voltage increases; counterclockwise rotation of the component numbered 202, the output voltage increases.

Part of the electromagnetic chuck (at least 1/5 of the suction cup surface, and has a long strip area) without suction:

Some of the excitation coils are damaged. Need to send electromagnetic chuck manufacturing factory repair.

Electromagnetic chucks have no suction reasons:

There is electricity on the electromagnetic chuck housing of the machine tool attachment. Use a 500 megohm shaker or multimeter to check the resistance of the yellow or black wire and the ground wire (yellow-green wire) of the electromagnetic chuck power cable. If it is higher than 1000k, it is not the suction cup, there is electricity on the suction cup, and other electrical appliances need to be checked. If it is lower than 1000k ohm, the electromagnetic suction coil excitation coil or the electromagnetic suction cup power cord is in contact with the outer casing; the electromagnetic suction cup junction box needs to be disassembled for further inspection.

If the resistance between the yellow or black line and the grounding wire (yellow-green line) in the junction box is less than 1000k ohms, the electromagnetic coil is in contact with the outer casing and needs to be repaired by the electromagnetic chuck manufacturer. If the resistance between the yellow or black line and the grounding wire (yellow-green line) in the junction box is greater than 1000k ohms, the electromagnetic suction cup power cord is in contact with the outer casing, reconnect the cable (replace the power cord if necessary) and do insulation treatment. After the above detection again, the general insulation resistance must be used in the electromagnetic chuck of 1000k ohm or more.
