A large-scale crystalline graphite ore was discovered in Alashan League of Inner Mongolia. According to the preliminary calculation of geological data, the reserves of graphite ore resources have reached 42 million tons, the mineral content exceeds 2 million tons, and the prospective resources are estimated to exceed 100 million tons.
According to the China Land Resources Report on November 4, Inner Mongolia's Eighth Geology and Mineral Exploration and Development Institute recently discovered a large crystalline graphite mine in Alxa League. The preliminary exploration and forecasting resources will exceed 100 million tons, which is expected to become the largest in Inner Mongolia. Crystalline graphite deposit.
The graphite mine is located in the Yandi Latu area of Azuoqi, Alashan League, western Inner Mongolia. The exploration area involves more than 20 square kilometers. The mine was discovered in the Inner Mongolia Eighth Geology and Mineral Exploration and Development Institute in 2008 for detailed investigation of iron ore geology in the area. In 2009, the hospital set aside 2 square kilometers for key exploration, and has now invested more than 7,000 meters in drilling. All the 40 boreholes in the recent construction have seen graphite ore. The average thickness of the ore body is more than 30 meters and the maximum thickness is 66 meters. The average grade of fixed carbon in the ore is 4.68%, and the highest grade is 8.65%.
According to the preliminary calculation of the geological data obtained by the project department of the institute, the reserves of graphite ore resources have reached 42 million tons, the mineral content exceeds 2 million tons, and the prospective resources are estimated to exceed 100 million tons. The area will become a large-scale crystalline graphite deposit, and its deposit size and prospective resources are the first in Inner Mongolia.
