The results of the multi-product production of liquid fuels through the directed conversion of agriculture and forestry biomass have won the second prize for national science and technology progress in 2016. The study developed a continuous high-temperature, high-pressure, non-cooking liquefaction plant and an engineering production and control system for horizontal and vertical organic combinations. The conversion rate of lignocellulosic raw materials was > 95%, and the yield of levulinic acid was higher than that of the traditional cooking hydrolysis method. Above %, product purity is >98%, and self-heating continuous cracking key technologies and complete sets of equipment have been developed. The yield of cracked oil is more than 75%, and the content of hydrocarbon components is more than 85%. Developed high-efficiency viscosity-reducing, flash evaporation and other efficient separation technologies for transesterification products. The efficiency is 4 times higher than that of the conventional sedimentation method, and the energy consumption is reduced by about 40%. A serial pressure continuous esterification coupled distillation separation continuous preparation method is created. The engineering technology of the hydrocarbon fuel and fuel additive levulinic acid ester, the esterification conversion rate reached 99.5%.
Through the combination of production, study and research, the transformation of scientific and technological achievements has been realized, with the completion of processing 80,000 tons of lignocellulosic fibres to produce levulinic acid and esters, 100,000 t/a biodiesel, and the world’s largest 5000t/a catalytic cracking to produce hydrocarbon-rich fuels and domestic and foreign Article 60,000 m3/a lignin phenolic foam and other continuous production lines.
