The development of stone industry standards is in full swing

Recently, the 5th meeting of the 5th President of China Stone Industry Association was held in Xiamen. Zhou Junxing of the National Stone Quality Supervision and Inspection Center introduced the main work of the National Stone Standardization Technical Committee and three sub-technical committees and standard committees established last year. The main tasks of the standardization work of the Standardization Committee in the near future are: to supplement and improve the standards urgently needed for the development of China's stone industry, and to initially establish a relatively complete standardization system for stone materials in China; the representatives of the conferences will each have their own opinions and will comprehensively promote the standard work of the Chinese stone industry.
China currently has 48 current standards related to stone, including 23 national standards, 24 building materials industry standards, and 1 entry and exit inspection and quarantine standard. It does not contain related abrasives.
Abrasive standard. There are 27 stone standards under revision, including 16 national standards (see annex table) and 11 building materials industry standards. There are 23 new standards and 4 industry standards are revised. It is planned to formulate 20 national standards for artificial stone terminology and test methods and amend 7 national standards for stone test methods.
