Recently, the “Extended Aluminum Alloy Enclosures Application High-Level Forum” sponsored by the China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association was held in Qingdao, Shandong Province. Ren Xudong, executive vice president of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, vice president and secretary general Jia Xing, vice president of the literature army attended the forum. At the forum, the keynote speech of the military literature, the relevant leaders of the Raw Materials Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Secretary-General of the International Aluminum Association, Ron Nep, delivered speeches. In his speech, the literature army pointed out that the positioning of the construction sector as the largest area for aluminum consumption in China is expected to remain unchanged for at least five years, but the share of consumption may decline. The reason why aluminum enclosures, aluminum formworks, and scaffolds used in construction were the main areas of promotion was because of the expansion of aluminum applications. First of all, it was necessary to focus on a wide range of products; secondly, it was technically difficult, and it was developed countries very early on. Began to apply and apply more mature things. The application of aluminum in the construction field has a solid foundation and broad space for development. In recent years, the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association has done a lot of work in this area. Following last year's expansion of aluminum alloy building template application forum in Foshan, once again Extend the application of aluminum in the field of construction. Organize special events to promote aluminum alloy enclosures to partially replace the color steel plates. The proposed construction field has received strong support and positive response from the downstream industry in terms of aluminum substitute steel and aluminum jointed wood, and has established a good relationship with downstream companies. In the next step, while we continue to promote the application of aluminum in traditional fields such as construction, we will regard the lightweighting of the transportation sector as an important breakthrough, further build and expand the aluminum application platform, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the aluminum industry.

According to the relevant leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, compared with traditional materials, aluminum fenders have the advantages of light weight, easy processing, corrosion resistance, and beauty. Some factories and large-scale buildings in China have begun to use a certain amount. According to statistics from the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, China annually consumes about 20 to 30 million tons of building color steel plates. Theoretically, if all aluminum is used instead, it can consume 10 million tons of aluminum, which shows that the promotion of this work is of great significance. It is believed that with the continuous increase in the competitiveness of aluminum enclosure products and the increase in public awareness, the application prospects of aluminum enclosures will be even broader. In the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will develop the “13th Five-Year Plan” for non-ferrous metals. In the preparation of the “13th Five-Year Plan” development planning guideline for the aluminum industry, the application of aluminum in the construction of aluminum alloy enclosure panels and architectural aluminum formwork will continue to be encouraged.

At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology attaches great importance to the innovation and promotion of aluminum processing materials, and actively guides and promotes the application of aluminum in the fields of automobiles, rail transportation, construction, aviation, etc., and promotes lightweight transportation, power conservation, and high-grade construction, and will promote aluminum materials. The grade and expansion of consumption are the key and effective ways to resolve the excess capacity of electrolytic aluminum.
