The State Department of Environmental Protection electrolytic aluminum PFC reduction meeting was held in Zhengzhou Research Institute

A few days ago, the Ministry of Environmental Protection held an electrolytic aluminum PFC reduction meeting at the Zhengzhou Research Institute. The Climate Change Working Group of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Henan Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Central South University, Zhongfu Industrial and other units dispatched personnel to attend the meeting.

At the meeting, Yang Jianhong, deputy director of the Zhengzhou Research Institute, made a report on "Electrolytic Aluminum Perfluorocarbon Reduction Technologies." During the meeting, the participating experts held heated discussions on issues such as the PFC emission reduction situation, urgency, and emission reduction mechanisms in China, and proposed suggestions such as conducting PFC public welfare verification, applying for capital assistance from developed countries, and promoting the use of mature PFC emission reduction technologies. The conference will provide data support for PFC emissions for our government's participation in the Durban Climate Change Conference.
