Tianjin 8.12 explosion led to relocation of plastics conference

The Recycling Plastics Branch of China Materials Recycling Association issued an urgent notice this week. It was scheduled to be held at the 10th China International Plastics Recycling Conference held at the Binhai International Convention and Exhibition Center on September 15-18. Due to serious damage to the original site, the meeting will be held. It was postponed until October 25-27 at the Marina One Hotel. The new site is more than 20 kilometers from the original site.

The association said in the notice that it is hoped that the participants will understand the inconvenience and difficulties brought about by the adjustment, and said that "Tianjin is the earliest area in China with the most used renewable resources and the most developed industrial model. The relevant enterprises have rich experience in operation and management. We did not change our original intention at the second meeting. The meeting site is still set in Tianjin. I hope that colleagues from all over the industry can face difficulties with Tianjin enterprises and overcome difficulties."
