The wastewater from the silicon carbide manufacturing process is mainly derived from the acid-base washing of the granulated acid-base washing and micro-powder production and the acid-base washing of the micro-powder production, and hydraulic classification. The harmful substances in the waste water are mainly acid and alkali and suspended solids.
The national standard "Industrial "wastewater" maximum allowable emission concentration" is clearly defined in GBJ4-73 (Table 2-11-7), and is also applicable to silicon carbide operations.
