Carbide indexable tools are quite common in some advanced machining plants abroad. It is popular because of its many advantages. During the "seventh five-year" period in China, this technology has made great progress and has become more and more widely used in enterprises. It has been listed as a national key promotion project by the State Science and Technology Commission, the State Planning Commission and the Ministry of Electrical and Mechanical Services. To this end, we invite the comrade Zhang Hanchao, a senior engineer of the Chengdu Institute of Tools, to write this lecture, to introduce the design, manufacture and use management technology of indexable tools to meet the requirements of the readers.
