The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine recently notified the results of the national supervision and inspection of the quality of ceramic toilet products. Among the 199 kinds of products examined, 26 products did not meet the standards.
This time, a total of 199 ceramic toilet products produced by 199 companies in 13 provinces and municipalities including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Fujian, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Chongqing and Sichuan were examined.
According to the relevant standards of "Sanitary Ceramics", "Consumer Water Tank Accessories", "Mechanical Toilet Flushing Valves" and the current effective enterprise standards and product express quality requirements, the water seal depth and water seal of ceramic toilet products are based on the relevant standards. Surface area, water absorption, toilet water consumption, washing function, solid discharge function, sewage replacement function, toilet water seal recovery, toilet matching requirements, pipeline transportation characteristics, safe water level technical requirements, inlet valve CL mark, installation relative position 17 items including anti-siphon function, inlet valve sealing, drain valve seal and inlet valve pressure resistance were tested.
The spot check found that 26 kinds of products did not meet the requirements of the standard, involving water absorption rate, toilet water consumption, technical requirements for safe water level, relative position of installation, water seal recovery of toilet, washing function, water seal depth and water seal surface area.
