Classification of energy-saving lamps
Energy-saving lamps can be divided into two categories: self-ballasted fluorescent lamps (electronic energy-saving lamps) and single-ended fluorescent lamps (PL plug-in energy-saving tube lamps).
The self-ballasted fluorescent lamp has a complete control circuit for the ballast and the starter lamp, and is equipped with a spiral lamp cap or a socket lamp cap. The circuit is typically enclosed in a housing, and the control circuitry in the lamp assembly is dominated by high frequency electronic ballasts. The integrated compact energy-saving lamp can be directly mounted on the lamp holder of a standard white-woven lamp, and the white-woven lamp can be directly replaced, which is convenient to use.
Single-ended fluorescent lamps refer to single-lamp low-pressure mercury vapor discharge lamps, most of which are emitted by the ultraviolet-activated phosphor coating produced by the discharge. It can be removed from the luminaire, used in specially designed luminaires, and designed to optimize or illuminate the lighting function by means of a control circuit integrated with the luminaire. The lamp holder has two needles (2P) and four needles (4P). The two-pin lamp holder contains a starter (also called a bubble jumper) and an anti-interference capacitor, while the four-pin lamp holder does not have any circuit components.
