The "International First-rate Distribution Network and New Energy Development Innovation Forum" was held in Nanjing on the 11th. The forum was jointly organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Electric Power Company of the State Grid and the Electric Power Research Institute of the Jiangsu Provincial Electric Power Company. It focused on the latest technologies and achievements in distribution network planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance, management and new energy.
Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Tianjin University’s Bo Dao’s Yu Yuxin pointed out in the report titled “China's Demand and Requirements for Smart Distribution Network†that, with the rapid development of the national economy, the demand for electricity in the entire society has grown rapidly, and the power grid “is weakâ€. The contradictions have become increasingly prominent. The purpose of the nation’s vigorous development of smart grids is to solve the problem of energy optimization through the construction of special high-voltage power grids and to solve the “last mile†problem of power transmission by constructing a first-rate distribution network.
The main grid of the grid-connected power grid on the power distribution network, which is linked to thousands of households, is an important link connecting the transmission grid, distributed power sources and various types of users. Since the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan†period, the State Grid Corporation of China has continued to increase investment in the construction of distribution networks, and has been striving to promote the standardization of distribution network construction. The scale and quality of power grids have achieved significant development. In the core areas of major cities in China, we have actively carried out pilot construction of “world-class†distribution grids, and the reliability of power supply and quality of service have been significantly improved.
According to the data, the Jiangsu Electric Power Company invested a total of 11.296 billion yuan in the distribution network reconstruction in 2013, completing 29,000 distribution network projects, and accelerating the pilot construction of the “first-class distribution network†in Yangzhou, Wuxi and Suzhou. The network structure is more complete, the grid operation is more stable and reliable, and the power supply service is more excellent.
