The reporter learned from the Metrology Institute of the Fujian Provincial Bureau of Quality Supervision on August 15 that the Fujian local standard "Technology Requirements for Solar Simulators" formulated by the institute will be officially implemented on November 1 this year. This is the first local standard for photovoltaic measurement in China.
It is reported that the solar simulator is a standard testing equipment for the development and quality inspection and grading of photovoltaic cells and components. If the measurement of indicators such as photovoltaic cell power is inaccurate, it will cause trade disputes. The standard "Solar Simulator Technical Requirements" formulated by the institute can be integrated with the international solar simulator level standard. It will standardize the solar simulator quality requirements and testing methods in Fujian Province and even the whole country, and enhance the international competitiveness of China's photovoltaic products.
At present, the measurement and testing service of photovoltaic industry in Fujian Province has already taken the lead in the country. The country's first “National Photovoltaic Industry Metrology and Testing Center†settled in the province in April this year. The center can conduct domestic research and testing services for photovoltaic measurement technology. The photovoltaic industry's structural adjustment, enhancing competitiveness, and breaking through the bottleneck of industrial development provide strong technical support.
