A few days ago, on the roof of the 7th floor of the 207 office building of the Second Institute of Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, the reporter saw a monitoring device that can be seen from a distance, a laser-transparent glass detection monitor. The monitor looks like a video camera and weighs 25 kilograms. The front end has three lenses of different sizes, and the back end has a small tail attached to a book-sized pocket display.

The technician gently pulled the handle on the monitor, “laser perspective eye” looked around and entered the search mode. A moment later, the car that the reporter stopped outside was found by the “perspective eye” and appeared on the monitor screen. The technician pressed the “Laser Switch” button. After two seconds, the monitor screen clearly showed the situation inside the car. Even the small hanging hanging on the rearview mirror could be identified.

“Dynamic images are easier to capture. If someone in the car will see more clearly,” said Zhao Wei, one of the R&D personnel and project manager of the 207 second institute of the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation. The instrument uses laser transmission and other technologies. Within a certain range of distances, it is easy to see ordinary dark glasses, glass curtain walls of buildings, dark glass of car glasses, etc., and monitor indoor or in-car. Not only that, "Perspective Eye" can also record or take pictures in real time.

According to reports, during the day, the “perspective eye” can be seen through several hundred meters of space. After nightfall, the “perspective eye” has better vision and the perspective distance is more than double the daytime. According to the technicians' explanation, visible light can be seen everywhere during the day and the laser light is diluted; at night, there is less visible light, so the laser display is clearer and brighter.

In addition to equipping the police, the “Laser Perspective Eye” can also guard the border checkpoints and ports to see through the vehicles and help law enforcement officers quietly pull out smugglers hiding in the car; some large passenger cars or cars with overloaded vehicles will also be easily seized. . According to Zhao Wei, in the future, the "laser perspective eye" is expected to be miniaturized and car-mounted to facilitate law enforcement.

According to reports, the laser-transmissive glass detection monitor has already applied for a patent. This technology effectively fills the gap in domestic video surveillance.
